How
does 'MySpot™'
Operate?
The
MySpot™ barrier is
locked in a vertical position to prevent
unauthorised access to your parking
space.
By
you pressing a button on your remote
control within the car, a signal from
the transmitter causes your MySpot™
barrier to lower & rest in
a horizontal position just off the
ground.
As
you drive over the horizontal barrier. MySpot™
absorbs the weight of your vehicle &
stores this energy for future use.
Once
you are parked, depending upon the
configuration of the installation, the
barrier will either lie flat under your
vehicle, or, as in this example below,
it can be raised behind your car using
the radio control to protect &
secure your vehicle in its parking
space.
To
drive out, in this example the barrier
is lowered using the radio control,
after which it can be automatically
raised by once again using the remote
radio transmitter. In applications where
MySpot™ is located
midway in the parking space, you simply
reverse out & then signal the
barrier to raise with your remote
control, then drive away leaving your
parking space protected once again.
MySpot™
can store the identities of up to 15
different remote control transmitters,
to allow each one control of the barrier
if you wish. (2 Remote Controls are
supplied as standard)
With
over 4 million different radio codes, MySpot™
ensures that only authorised
transmitters control your barrier.
For
commercial access parking applications,
such as commercial parking use outside
of an office, business units, shops etc,
an unlimited number of transmitters can
control up to 9 side-by-side parking
spaces. This ensures that only your
authorised people can park in your
reserved spaces!
Clearly
the MySpot™ offers
huge benefits for public access parking
applications, such as the control of
disabled parking spaces. Again an
unlimited number of transmitters can
control up to 9 side-by-side parking
spaces.
