Access Control and Communication Systems

Access Control

The starting point in any security plan begins at the perimeter access points or boundary line.  Restrict the movement there and you are likely to deter the opportunist intruder who accounts for the majority of crime today.

Gates, automatic barriers, card readers and security checkpoints are the most popular choices for access control.  For larger complexes and open sites good security fencing, perimeter alarms and camera surveillance can greatly enhance any security plan.

MyParkingSpace.com have the facilities, knowledge and expertise to supply and install all aspects of security from design to manufacture, specification to installation; providing a quality solution to all your security needs.

MyParkingSpace.com can a way for people wishing to enter a site or building to communicate with internal occupant(s) or remote control rooms in order to gain access through the device blocking their entrance - a locked door, gate barrier or turnstile etc.  - whether manual (with electric locking) or automated.

Communications

Audio Entry -  If an audio-only entrance phone, the occupants rely on good quality audibility through which to identity a visitor by his voice and/or reason for wanting access, via:

Entrance Panel -
This is a surface - flush/post- mounted control box in a choice of metal, weather and vandal resistant finishes.  The panel accommodates either one or more push buttons (call-buttons) which correspond to certain occupancies (call points) within the building(s), or a keypad of number buttons 1 to #, similar to a phone keypad, so that a specific reference number can be punched in. The entrance panel contains a speaker and microphone and is situated close to the entrance door/gate/barrier etc.

Audio Handset(s)
- Installed within each occupancy and normally wall-
mounted in a conventional/central position. These are similar to normal
telephone handsets but with only a maximum of two control push-buttons
(e.g. 1st button to open vehicle gate, 2nd button to open pedestrian gate.)

Both audio and video entry phones can provide other features, as follows:
Timed Tradesman's Access is  provided by a separate push-button on the entry panel.  This means that regular, trusted tradesmen e.g. milkman, postman, can 'command'  the entrance to unlock/open without having to disturb any of the occupants.  This can be programmed for day-long  or only during pre-set periods (whichever the occupants prefer).  Coded Entry -  Entry phone systems,  with digital keypads, allow the occupants and any other authorised visitors to enter a Personal Identification Number (PIN) without having to first gain verbal permission.

We offer a full range of entrance phones, from simple one-to-ones,  to multi-user more complex systems.
